Stranger Things Season 4 dials the fan service to a new level – however, it took a noticeable liking to the adored relationship between Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), leaving one fan-favorite couple to fall by the wayside. Throughout the new season of the hit Netflix series, Max (Sadie Sink) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) seem to have called it quits following the tumultuous happenings of the previous season which saw Max’s step-brother Billy Hargrove (Darcy Montgomery) sacrificing his life to the Mind Flayer to protect the ragtag group of teens....

The Stranger Things Season 4 trailer itself stopped short of revealing Vecna’s name, but it has since been confirmed by series creators The Duffer Brothers and Netflix. What may interest gamers about Vecna’s name is that it’s actually named after a Dungeons & Dragons character....

While Street Fighter 5 does come with a story mode out of the box, Capcom is calling this version a prologue to the main story, intended to introduce characters to players and setting up the main conflict. Gamers won’t get the full story until the full fledged cinematic story mode is released sometime in June for free to anyone that has a copy of the game. Reviews have indicated that the story prologue is fairly short for each character, featuring storyboard images in place of cut scenes, followed by a couple of fights before the credits roll....

The controversy surrounds the recently added Street Fighter 5 version of the Thailand stage, made famous by Street Fighter 2 and widely regarded as one of the best examples of the Street Fighter series’ early level design brilliance. The Street Fighter 5 remaster of M. According to a Facebook post by the academy, the student and his mother were placed in quarantine, stemming from “the mother’s contact with a patient at Sarasota Doctors Hospital in her professional role.” The Facebook post also notes that the student and his mother have not shown any symptoms of the disease, officially known as COVID-19, but in a press release sent to Newsweek, the school’s executive director, Christina Bowman wrote that “it is recommended by the Florida Department of Health that anyone who may have come in contact with those impacted by the virus should self-quarantine at home as a precautionary measure....

The Greenwood Police Department said Thursday that it responded to a homicide and that the victim was “a student at Whiteland Community High School.” The department said it believes the killing was an “isolated incident” and that “the victim was specifically targeted.” News station Fox 59 posted a statement released by Indiana’s Clark-Pleasant schools—which Whiteland Community High School is a part of—detailing that the student died after being shot near his bus stop....

Using social media more often than normal may have been worrisome for some people, given our already tech-centered lives. The trend has been especially noticeable among young people. A recent study published in Technology, Mind, and Behavior found that while problematic social technology behaviors have increased in teens during the pandemic, higher use was not related to decreased well-being. For the study, the researchers analyzed the social technology behaviors of nearly 600 middle school students in the United States before and during the pandemic....

After looking at the first 13.8 million doses administered (between December 14, 2020 through January 13, 2021), CDC researchers found that 79.1% of side effect reports came from women. Common side effects included headaches, fatigue, arm soreness, and dizziness. While rare, women were also more likely to have anaphylactic reactions to the vaccines, according to recent CDC data published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). All 19 of the reported anaphylactic reactions to the Moderna vaccine occurred in women, as did 44 of 47 anaphylactic reactions to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine....

Confronting the main portion of truckers and general protestors amassed outside of the Canadian parliament building and prime minister’s office, police deployed stun grenades and pepper spray in an effort to disperse the crowd, according to The Guardian. During the crackdown, police also used loudspeakers to warn protestors to disperse or face arrest. This came a day after authorities cleared out a portion of the protest blockage on Friday, resulting in roughly 100 arrests....

Seen fighting on the top floor of one of the houses, the player gets into a gunfight with an enemy below. Attempting to toss C4 down at their opponent, the sticky explosive instead got stuck in mid-air — ignoring the fact that the window was broken. While gamers initially believed this was a major C4 bug, it instead seems to be another example of Verdansk’s window issues....

Intriguingly, Symmetra is not the only turret-wielding damage character to encounter an odd bug in recent weeks. The Overwatch hero Torbjorn has seen his beloved turrets failing to deploy in a certain area on Hollywood, removing one of their most powerful vantage points from use. While seeing Torb’s turrets bounce in the same spot is a bit disappointing, at least the hero himself is not being killed after placing them....

It isn’t the first glitch to appear in the multiplayer game. A well-known error in the game involves bridges that launch players at an alarming speed into the air, which players love to recreate. The “wara ningyō” dolls, translated to “straw dolls” in English, have been used historically in the country to ward off evil. They have also been used as part of supernatural rituals, with the dolls representing the subject of the curse. Since mid-May, the straw dolls have been found in at least ten Shinto shrines in the Japanese prefecture, close to the town of Matsudo. One straw doll was found at Mikazuki Shrine in Matsudo hammered into a sacred castanopsis tree with two long nails through the areas representing the doll’s chest and head....
