God of War Ragnarok’s main story campaign will enable players to fight mandatory bosses like Thor and Odin, but many gamers venture deeper into the nine realms to unlock battles with numerous optional bosses like Hrolf Kraki and Gna, which drop exciting rewards and XP upon defeat. These optional foes are often more challenging than the main story bosses of God of War Ragnarok, and one such boss is Jorgen - The Oath Guard. Generally, Jorgen - The Oath Guard is one of the most brutal bosses in God of War Ragnarok, but one player found this fight easier than usual because of a weird reason.

Reddit user Quick_Zone_4570 uploaded a video on the social media platform showing their battle with Jorgen - The Oath Guard. The footage shows Kratos pounding the God of War Ragnarok boss with the Leviathan Axe, landing powerful blows repeatedly. However, Jorgen keeps standing still like a statue instead of attacking Kratos or dodging his attacks. He maintains his signatory pose as Kratos pummels him with a barrage of heavy and light attacks in God of War Ragnarok.
At one point, a heavy attack by Kratos causes Jorgen, to lose balance and fall on his back. Surprisingly, the God of War Ragnarok boss stands up but refuses to attack Kratos or perform any defensive maneuver. As a result, Jorgen’s health bar is depleted soon after receiving multiple devastating blows from the God of War Ragnarok protagonist, ultimately killing him. Most Reddit users were surprised to see Jorgen in such a state as he is usually very aggressive in the fight, hardly giving any opportunity for attacking.
For those who don’t know, Jorgen - The Oath Guard belongs to a class of God of War Ragnarok bosses called Travelers, who first appeared in God of War 2018 and made a comeback for the sequel. The primary features of Traveler bosses are their thick armor, brute strength, and giant swords though on occassion, Travelers from God of War Ragnarok also wield large shields to block oncoming attacks.
God of War Ragnarok is available on PS4 and PS5.
