Chun-Li herself has been in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars since 2018, along with some other Street Fighter characters. However, Chun-Li Ranger is literally a Power Rangers version of the character, complete with her own helmet, morphing sequence, and more. Despite the new look, this version of Chun-Li has a move-set that should be familiar to fans of the character.

As it turns out, Chun-Li isn’t the first Street Fighter character to be turned into a literal Power Ranger in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. Earlier this year, fans were treated to Ryu Ranger, which as one might have guessed, is a Power Ranger version of Ryu. Moving forward, it’s possible that the other Street Fighter characters that were added to the game last year will get a proper Power Rangers makeover as well. If so, then Akuma, Cammy, Guile, and M. Bison could all be next up.

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars may be one of the most successful Power Rangers video games to date, but it’s certainly not the only one that has released in recent years. One of the more notable Power Rangers video games to launch recently was Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, which launched earlier this year. Like Legacy Wars, Battle for the Grid is a fighting game that lets players duke it out as various Power Rangers from different eras of the show.

Power Rangers: Battle fro the Grid also features Megazords and higher production values when compared to Legacy Wars, which may be a draw for some. However, the game has yet to add any Street Fighter characters, so those who enjoy the crossover appeal will have to stick with Legacy Wars for the time being.

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
