These female characters can give anyone a run for their money and many of them are armed with incredibly overpowered devil fruits. Over the last few arcs, there has been an increase in the number of female characters and it has only made the series even more enjoyable.
Updated on April 8, 2022, by Suzail Ahmad: There is no lack of strong females in One Piece. On several occasions, they have proved that they are just as powerful as their male counterparts. Shirahoshi for one has more power than any other character in the series, but she hasn’t gotten the power under control. There are also extremely strong devil fruit users that have taken their devil fruit abilities to the next level. With that in mind, we have added some of the strongest female devil fruit users in One Piece.
14 Kozuki Toki
Kozuki Toki was the wife of Kozuki Oden, the legendary samurai from Wano. She met him on an island outside Wano when he saved his life from bandits. Toki married Oden and together they had two kids- Hiyori and Momonosuke. Toki possessed a paramecia type devil fruit known as the Toki Toki no Mi. This devil fruit allowed her to send herself forward in time, which makes it an extraordinarily powerful ability. However, she could not go back in time, once she traveled to the future.

Perona served as a minor antagonist in the Thriller Bark arc. She possesses the power of the Horo Horo no Mi, which is a paramecia type devil. The devil fruit allows Perona to create negative hollows and anyone who touches them starts to feel negative about themselves, and in some cases, they contemplate suicide.

There is no defense against this ability except if a person is already depressed then the ghosts won’t have any effect. Perona can also create ghosts that explode on her command.

10 Charlotte Smoothie
Charlotte Smoothie is a Sweet General of Big Mom Pirates, which makes her one of the best fighters on the crew. She ate the Shibo Shibo no Mi, which grants her the ability to drain liquid from both animate and inanimate objects. Smoothie can also absorb the liquid into her body and weapons, and make them bigger in size.
9 Sugar
She is a member of the Donquixote Pirates. Sugar ate the Hobi Hobi no Mi, a paramecia type devil fruit that has the ability to transform people into toys.
Once a person is transformed, the memories of their existence are removed. It was only because of Sugar’s power that Doflamingo was able to rule the nation of Dressrosa with peace. In addition to the power of being able to turn people into toys, Sugar’s devil fruit also grants her eternal youth.
8 Ulti
Ulti possesses the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pachycephalosaurus, which is an ancient zoan type devil fruit. The devil fruit bolsters Ulti’s strength and it compliments Ulti’s fighting style perfectly.

Her fighting style mainly involved headbutting opponents and with the sturdy head of a Pachycephalosaurus, Ulti can cause some serious damage. Ulti’s endurance is incredible as she was able to withstand multiple hits from a Yonko. Luffy considered her a real threat and was ready to use his strongest gear against her.
7 Black Maria
One of the Tobi Roppo, Black Maria is one of the strongest fighters in the Beasts Pirates. Her bounty of 480,000,000 beris is the second-highest among the Tobi Roppo.
Black Maria ate the Kumo Kumo no Mo, Model: Rosamygale Grauvogeli, an ancient zoan type devil fruit. The devil fruit allows Black Maria to transform into an ancient spider and its hybrid. With her abilities, she was able to put up a great fight against Robin.
6 Catarina Devon
She is the only female member of the Blackbeard Pirates. Catarina Devon was imprisoned in the lowest level of Impel Down, making her one of the most notorious pirates in the facility.
Catarina Devon ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Kyubi no Kitsune, which is a mythical zoan type devil fruit. The devil fruit allows her to transform herself into other people. She used her devil fruit ability to fool Gecko Moria into thinking that Absalom was still alive.
5 Jewelry Bonney
One of the members of the Worst Generation, Jewelry Bonney is a highly-skilled fighter. She was first introduced in the Sabaody Archipelago arc, along with the rest of the super-rookies.

Bonney possesses an unnamed devil fruit that allows her to manipulate the age of other people. She is able to increase and decrease the age of the people whom she touches. The true power of her devil fruit remains a mystery, but it will eventually be revealed as the series continues.
4 Belo Betty
Belo Betty is the East Army Commander of the Revolutionary Army. She has a bounty of 457,000,000 beris, which is one of the highest bounties within the Revolutionary Army.
Belo Betty ate the Kobu Kobu no Mi, a paramecia type devil fruit that allows her to awaken the fighting spirit within people. She used her power to rally the citizens of Lulusia Kingdom to fight against the invading pirates.
3 Nico Robin
Formerly an assassin for Baroque Works, Nico Robin is a very strong woman; both physically and mentally. As a child, she had to run away from several homes because everyone wanted to hand her over to the World Government. So, Robin learned not to rely on anyone but herself.
Robin’s Hana Hana no Mi is a paramecia-type devil fruit that allows her to sprout limbs. Robin’s attacks are quick and powerful enough to restrain Hakuba. After the time-skip, her power increased and allowed her to beat Black Maria, one of the Tobi Roppo.
2 Boa Hancock
Boa Hancock is one of the few characters that can use all three types of Haki, thus making her a part of a very special list. Boa Hancock ate the Mero Mero no Mi, which allows her to turn any person or object that she touches into stone. It is a very underrated devil fruit, but in reality, it has extremely devastating potential. It is almost impossible to counter this ability, and only a few characters have fought Boa and lived to tell the tale.
1 Big Mom
She is one of the Yonko and the strongest female character in the series. She was the main antagonist of the Whole Cake Island arc. She displayed her monstrous strength, which left Luffy and co. flabbergasted.
Big Mom possesses the Soru Soru no Mi, which is a paramecia type devil fruit. It allows her to steal the souls of her people and breathe life into inanimate objects. Big Mom can also use her own life-span to further bolster her strength.
